Cyprus Education


Educational standards are very high in Cyprus. You can find junior and secondary schools which cater for English, Russian, French, Arabic and Armenian speaking pupils. There are two Government, Greek speaking Cypriot Universities and numerous private, English speaking Universities. These are all of a high standard and offer a wide variety of professions. Additionally there are English speaking colleges which offer professional examinations and courses such as ACA and ACCA. These colleges are often affiliated to UK and USA universities, allowing graduates of 2-3 year courses to enrol with the related UK and USA universities. Fees in these Cypriot Universities or Colleges are range between €4.000 to €8.000 per year.





The University of Cyprus (UCY) is a public university based in the Capital of Cyprus, Nicosia. It was the first university to be established in 1989 in Cyprus. The University has over 5,000 students enrolled in 73 graduate and 31 undergraduate programs. Fees are only applicable to masters and PhD courses.
